CLEVELAND, Sept. 25 -- AG Interactive, the new media subsidiary of American Greetings, announced today that they have relaunched BlueMountain.com, one of the world's most popular and successful websites. As part of today's launch, consumers are invited to take advantage of a three-day "freeview" of the site offering full access to the 2,000+ eCards and the full catalog of printable greetings
- including cards, stationery, invitation, business cards and more!
The result of a nine-month review and redesign process, the new site is built on input from subscribers and AG Interactive's significant expertise in bringing compelling online content to consumers. The site has been restructured to place eCards on the front page, providing immediate access to the online greetings. The collection of eCards has also been infused with a new energy that reflects the characteristics of the original site: worldly, optimistic, artistic and clever.
The site has also added an "Awareness and Activism" area, spotlighting events and topics that are of interest to subscribers, such as Breast Cancer Awareness, Hurricane Katrina Relief and Hispanic Heritage Month.
The site provides eCards that can be sent to help spread awareness about important events and to provide philanthropic support as well.
"Even though the BlueMountain.com site remains very popular, we wanted to bring back the clever artistry and humor of the original site," said Sally Babcock, senior vice president, AG Interactive. "We wanted to infuse energy, optimism, wit and sophistication back into the site and as a result, we have created and updated many cards and eliminated others, presenting over 2,000 eCards that speak to friends and family in a fresh way. With the addition of our activism section, we are also reaching out with our subscribers to support initiatives that are important to them."
The "freeview" of the site runs from September 25th - 27 and is sponsored by Hyundai, and allows visitors to explore the new content and make a friend laugh by sending them a clever eCard, inspire them with a mini piece of artwork chosen among the many new artistic offerings, or remind them of an important happening.
The site relaunch is part of an overall initiative to ensure that all of the American Greetings' online sites - AmericanGreetings.com, BlueMoutain.com, Egreetings.com and BloombyAG.com - are tailored to specifically meet the interests of their targeted audiences.
