American Greetings Declares 199th Consecutive Dividend

CLEVELAND, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of American Greetings (NYSE: AM) declared a regular quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share.

The dividend, payable to holders to both Class A and Class B common shares, will be paid on September 10, 2001, to shareholders of record as of August 27, 2001. This will be the 199th consecutive quarter that American Greetings has paid a dividend.
