American Greetings and Spin Master Settle Infringement

NEW YORK, March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- American Greetings Corporation
(NYSE: AM)
and Spin Master Toys have announced that they have settled the lawsuit
pending in the Southern District of New York. In the suit, American
Greetings alleged that its rights to the plush toy My Pet Monster
had been infringed upon by Spin Master in its marketing of the plush
toy Don't Free Freddy. Spin Master's Freddy will be marketed with
changes from the Toy shown at Toy Fair. The specific terms of the
settlement are confidential.
