American Greetings Declares 198th Consecutive Dividend

CLEVELAND, Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of American Greetings (NYSE: AM) declared a regular quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share.

The dividend, payable to holders to both Class A and Class B common shares, will be paid on June 8, 2001, to shareholders of record as of May 25, 2001. This will be the 198th consecutive quarter that American Greetings has paid a dividend.
